The Gauteng Department of Education strongly condemns the incident involving Pastor Mboro in a Media Statement, the incident happened today on Monday, 05 August 2024 at Matshidiso Primary School in Katlehong where three individuals aggressively put the well being of educators and students at risk as seen in viral video that's been trending on Social Media.
In this shocking video is a well known South African Pastor famously known as Pastor Mboro with his and his group of armed men who were allegedly threatening to attack Teachers on school premises, Paster Mbhoro was holding "pangas" and his men were armed with assault rifle.

In the media Statement issued by Gauteng Department of Education "This Violent and appalling behavior has no place in our school or our society". GDE state in their media statement that the conflict is between two families fighting over Custody of children who are enrolled at the school, Grade RR and Grade 2 boy learners, unfortunately their mother passed away in April this year, 2024. On the day of the incident, their father held meeting in the morning with Principal, later on the guardian of the children who is their Grandmother also held a meeting with Principal to Report about conflict that happened during the meeting which was help this past weekend at the house Paster Mboro

The school didn't want to release the children without the consent of their guardian who is their Grandmother, this led to Pastor Mboro arriving at school with his bodyguards holding weapons grabbing the kids by force and threatening teachers
The community, The Principal, School Govern Body (SGB) got involved and took the matter to the police. Gauteng Department of Education brief that Child Protection Unit is set to mediate the situation and Psycho-Social support will be deployed for the affected teachers and learners to help them cope with trauma from the incident.
