Pearl Thusi says that guy wasn't French until he saved the baby from a burning building and the government that refused to give him Citizenship awarded him with Citizenship as reward for saving the baby, she says that in South Africa we have similar situation.

Pearl Thusi "She's Born in South Africa, Raised by South Africa, therefore she's a South African, she can't call Nigeria home, even though her parents might be Nigerians or where ever they might be from, that is besides the point".
Pearl Thusi says that if Chidimma was a white girl or maybe French, South Africans wouldn't have not noticed but because her name is in Nigerian, now is a big deal. She says but South African Cricket team is represented by people who have parents that are not from South Africa and in the national parliament. She says Chidimma is suffering because she's black

After Daivy M looked hard on this matter we found that, Children born in South Africa to Foreign Parents doesn't Automatically make those children citizens of South Africa, is a rule by Polokwane High Court in 2013. According to the Citizenship law in South Africa, At least one parent must be permanent resident of South Africa for South African Citizenship to apply on the child
