Makhadzi's clarity on Funding by DSAC on her BET Award trip

The National Department Of Sports, Arts and Culture released a media statement on Tuesday, June 09, 2024. Stating that they have been supportive to Makhadzi on her trip to BET Award in United States. Makhadzi regard that letter as misleading. Makhadzi Entertainment released a Media statement clarifying the correction of that letter by DSAC.

In the media Statement released by Makhadzi Entertainment, it says that the Media Statement by DSAC is causing confusion and Makhadzi never received or applied for any funding from DSAC in past 14 months as said in the media Statement by DSAC. They say that they can confirm that the National Department Of Sports, Arts and Culture contacted Makhadzi to perform in June 16, 2024 event and Presidential Inauguration which she did and the money that the DSAC paid was for the service rendered not funding.

According to DSAC media statement, Makhadzi received R230 000 for performing in several national engagements. Which Makhadzi denied in a live video on Facebook, she says the department is being manipulative to the public and she never received more than R100 000 from Department Of Sports, Arts and Culture for bookings.

Makhadzi seems to believe that they are using her name to divert attention, Makhadzi Entertainment says that Makhadzi is not one of the recipients, they asking Minister Mr Gayton Mckenzie to release the list of recipients and stop diverting Attention

Sadly Makhadzi went to BET Awards in United States with the money she borrowed from Loan Shark (Machonisa) because SARS is milking her pockets. The public went mad and said the government should have intervened as Makhadzi was representing South Africa in USA, The National Department Of Sports Arts and culture released a media statement strongly rejecting that they were not supportive to Makhadzi on her trip to BET Award.
